Guide to paddling the Oconto River by Coolie

Oconto River from hwy 32 to (almost) co rd BB. Clear water, sandy bottom till closer to BB, then it gets rocky/gravelly and very shallow. Good current. Nice shorter paddle. If water is higher, can start from park in Pulcifer (if boat scrapes bottom under bridge in Pulcifer, will be scraping all the way to BB, per “Paddling Northern Wisconsin”). 60 foot train trestle bridge on river. Very nice wayside boat launch on hwy 32 with bathrooms, grills, picnic area.
